Soul Train!
The Soul Train dancers are WACK!
Only a handful of them actually have rhythm and can dance on beat. The rest look like they are dancing to the words.
My kids were laughing at them! They must no longer recruit professional dancers.
That, the obvious lipsyncing, and the "un heard of" performers make wack as hell! No comparison to the Soul Train that I grew up on! So sad.

Well when Soul Train started back on Chicago's South Side back in the late 70's everybody seemed to know what they were doing.
Of course it was hosted by Don Corneleus and Clinton Gent back then but when they finally moved the show to Cali it got a little bit different. Jody Watley and Jeffery Daniels used to get their boogie on before they before they became 2/3 of the group Shalamar. Jeffery Danials in turn taught Mr. Michael Jackson that routine we all know today as the Moonwalk.
Yeah Soul Train used to have their share of half way decent dancers back in the day. Like Shabadoo Quinones and Fred "rerun" Berry!! I like them when they were "Lockers". I think Soul Train went down the drain in the 90's personally. I'm just shocked it still comes on.

The Soul Train departed the station years ago and headed to parts unknown. I can't even remember the last time I watched the show. Can't recall watching it since Shemar Moore hosted. I honestly don't miss watching the show.

Lipsyching on Soul Train. NOOO Anyway the show needs a serious overhaul. First of all, start by having the artists perform live with a band. And find a lively host.

That's an idea to consider. They definitely need a better host.
