I agree if Don Cornelius is still running things at least do something different: more excited entertainment..EITHER:
1.Change the background set.
2. Show the dancers on the floor.[not just on the podium.]
3.Need BLACK PEOPLE..BLACK PEOPLE dancing.Need Black hosting..lol
4.Need a new format.
5.Or cancel.

If they were smart they'd close down the Station, fire the engineer, and retire that choo choo!!

I used to wonder, why is that everytime WE have something...it gets infiltrated? When the format of the show changed? I changed the channel--permanently.

This is so true !!! I keep telling my friends the same thing~~why ? is it we get a show -there They are..when we get new dance moves we've created..there They are imitating the same moves..every flip flop thing dang !

Jody Watley and Jeffery Daniels used to get their boogie on before they before they became 2/3 of the group Shalamar. Jeffery Daniels in turn taught Mr. Michael Jackson that routine we all know today as the Moonwalk.
Yeah Soul Train used to have their share of half way decent dancers back in the day. Like Shabadoo Quinones and Fred "rerun" Berry!! I like them when they were "Lockers". I think Soul Train went down the drain in the 90's personally. I'm just shocked it still comes on.

For all the reasons you described Sista Jamie, this is why they decided to re-air the classic shows. The dancers in the 90's & 2000's had nothing on the dance crews from the 70's and 80's.
