Religious Fanatics, What good do they serve?
Check me if I'm illin', but what good do religious fanatics serve? I'm not talkin bout people who live life dedicated to their religous beliefs, but the one's that have to throw their belief system in your face EVERY time they open their mouths.
Does this work? Has anyone every been converted by the constant pounding of spiritual pumelling? Was Jesus, God, Allah, or any other spritiual figure like this?
I wish they would quit. It get's on my nerve, and sometime I want to duct tape their mouths shut. We seem to have one right here on this board. Is this person helping, or just blowing his horn of quotes so loud, we are all losing our hearing.
Now I know I've offended some people here at the AC, and was even banned for a while. But do I talk about the same thing every time, from the same angle at every opportunity....? NO!
Get a real life religious-terrorists!

My understanding is that preaching was Jesus' life, and his life was dedicated to it, so wherever he went, or to whomever he spoke he always spoke about the prophesies and God's Kingdom.
My advice to you Mr. Bronx is that if you don't like what is going on in the religion Forum, then don't go in there; but, if you have to, maybe you can put some of that duck tape over your ears or eyes? :LolLolLol

Corals, How bout u pay more attention to my post sistagirl. so ready to comment, but you can't read. I was talking specifically bout people doing it at EVERY opportunity, not from one specific area, context, forum, post, etc....
How can you expect to intelligently respond to a post in which you don't fully read? :weight_li
Pull the ducttape off your eyes, and place it on your mouth.

I personally believe that you win more bees with honey. There is no way that I could consider listening to a person whose only response to everything was from their own religious view. How shallow can a person be? You cannot force religion on anyone because God gave us all a choice. Besides when Jesus taught and preached he did it with love and not at all by force. See this is the kind of stuff that would make me put my fingers in my ears and say " lolly lolly lolly...I cant hear you!"

I can read very well thank you, and I fully understood what you meant. If someone is talking about something continually of which you have no interest in, what does one do, one walks away, just like I am doing now.

You might as well, cause you can't read anway. So typical; talking before you finish listening...

I feel your pain Mr. Bronx. If you try hard enough, even the overbearing can be ignored. Tolerance is a two way street.

I personally think it's hilarious. I don't read all the posts myself, but I'm always curious about what he's going to come up with next. I'm like, "ok, how's he going to relate this situation to the bible?" or "what's he going to come up with concerning this?"
Apparently, almost everything is a sin according to this guy and the bible and it's funny to read. I mean, I had no idea something as typical as SHAVING would be a one way ticket to hell. It's entertaining to me and I don't think he means any harm, so it doesn't bother me.
As long as he doesn't come knocking on my door with one of those booklets and giving me a homework assignment to do we'll be cool. lol
