Whats the problem here folks? Have you ever stopped to think that maybe, just maybe, some people have ecclectic taste? Maybe the hair color is an expression of who they are? Hmmm? I tell ya boy we Brothas and Sistas find some of the stupidest things to use to talk about each other... rather than appreciate the individuality in ourselves, we shun it, make fun of it and point fingers at it because it looks bad to US... Now why should it look bad? White people wear green, purple, blue, rainbow, yellow, silver hair and stick metal all over their faces, tattoo their heads and we dont say NUFFIN... or maybe you do and just dont make forums about it. Oh I know... someone is going to say, "I dont care what white people do, im talking about MY people"... I've heard that one before, it was right after I saw YOUR people in tribal dance ceremonies in the Sierra Leone, Ghana and New Guinea with hair dyed with berries and other natural elements to the tune of red, gold and green... yep, they dye their hair too...

When I see a Black woman with blue braids or red and yellow weaves, I STILL recognize the beauty in her, after all, its her individuality shes expressing just as I express mine. And maybe I dont express mine with yellow weaves and red braids... But I still express it and embrace it... something we need to do more often.

I love that video though. Although I do think alot of girls did start wearing those colors after that video was out. I didn't see too much of that before.

I personaly hate to see women with multi-coloured hair. There is such a stigma associated with women with that kind of hair. Most people view them as ragga, even though they probably are not.

I haven't seen anyone with burgundy for a while. But I'm pretty unobservant sometimes. I remember that I used to get really bright colors on my braids for holidays, competitions or shows. (I used to dance when I was younger.) I think it's cute to get one really loud color or a couple thrown into a deep raven black.

no see they was doing that different color braided weave stuff in florida way before li'kim video cause I remember seeing it at a two live crew concert. cause everywhere looked that day it was different color weaves and braids and gold teeth golore. I know I am in the wrong business I need to get into the hair weave selling business cause people don't care what color it is they will buy it.
