American Pride?

I am so sick of all of this fake patriotism. I say fake because why should it take (911) a horrible disaster for people to realize what a Great country we have and we need to protect it. (Is it human nature)
We should not take are country for granted, and we shouldnt under estimate other countries.
Because while we were sitting over here eating bon bons and playing Ps2, the terrorist got in OUR planes and caused a lot of pain for many families.

Another Question. Is it me or is the United States Military becoming the world police?

All that 9/11 meant to me was that we are not secure as we may have thought we were. I don't necessarily take our country for granted and if I did I'm free to leave, but it aint all good either.
As far as united states military becoming world police... It does seem that way. It seems as we are in everybody else business when we have our own business to attend to. So quick to send our soldiers over and put their lives in danger to fight for who knows what... And who is taking who for granted? I guess its our responsibility, I don't know. Anyway, this is just my opinion on a subject I'm not famaliar with.

I agree that 911 brought out a lot of fake patrotism. Personally, I do't take this for granted having seen a couple other countries we got it good, even with its imperfections. As far as the military becoming the world police, Yes I think the goverment is using the military to police the world.

I never felt that sense of security a lot of people felt we had. I woke up that morning during 9-11 and it was just business as usual for the most part for me. I even tried going to the bank when they were shutting down D.C. I knew it was only a matter of time before somebody showed us that we werent as mighty as a lot of people liked to believe. I spent the next few months and years being disgusted with fellow countrymen. I still hear people calling muslims savages and praising Israel (as if it is free of crimes) too. I heard people saying things like "they're all jealous of our lifestyle and freedom", Bush called the following efforts a "crusade", and people huddled together scared and started sticking up American flags everywhere.

We are lucky for a few blessings we have in this nation but everything comes at a price. A lot of people do not realize that an affluent lifestyle comes at the price of others no matter how you've acquired wealth. Unfortunately, innocent masses seem to suffer the most for things the few do.

I dont think we're the police of the world. It seems the military is pretty selective as to what conflicts it gets involved in. I always find that they turn their back on Africa and a few other regions of the world. The second a political climate or conflict looks like it might slow up some cash flow or theres money to be made all of a sudden troops get deployed.

Given that I said I felt that it seems that we're turning into the police of the world, the way you put it in saying how selective things get made a good point. Atleast IMO.

9/11 was done by the United States Government. The BIble prophesies in revelation about the leaders of this country Burning her with FIRE. The warning has been going out from us, they are planning on establishing the New world order, which is a plan by Satan to set up a wicked 1 world government, to get the whole world to denouce God and Jesus Christ and worship him.

9/11 was done because the people needed a Big Catastrophy to get people to want the war against terrorism and the war in Iraq. What all of this is leading into is a world war over democracy. "We need democracy here" "no dont bring your democracy over here" "ok well we are going to go to war over it."

Just some quick proof that the US. Did 9/11.

On the day of the attack the official report that came out was that a plane had stricken both towers, and a plane also struck the pentagon. (people forget about the pentagon) However.... if you look at the pictures of the pentagon destruction, there were NO AIRPLANE PARTS OUTSIDE OR INSIDE THE PENTAGON!!!

You can see clearly that a plane could NOT have struck that area... what does that mean? They blew it up THEMSELVES. And gave a phony report just to make YOU believe that they wereunder attack.... why? They wanted everyone to unite under this wicked order they are setting up. Don't think that 9/11 is oging to be the last one... PRETTY SOON there are going to be MANY MORE 9/11's.

ANd more proof it was them.... immediately you see those American trucks began pouring sand and gravel over the ground in that picture, to cover up the truck that crashed into the pentagon with explosives.
