"Of all my complaints about message boards that is the biggest, the tone people take behind a keyboard is not always what it would be in person and not only because of the physical threat that may be percieved but it is simply not corteous or civil to bust on someone in such a rude way."

My sentiments exactly, it's easy to have
"nuts" when you're behind a computer screen. You can be, say, copy and paste, just about anything you want. Some people are naiveté to what’s going on so they seek out to push buttons of folks they don’t know. They think anonymity gives them cover.
But not everyone in cyberspace writes off personal insults or take them lightly. You could be attacking a sociopath who may change handles, befriend you, and gain your confidence only to later stalk, betray, or worst hurt you. It’s some ruthless people out there. In real-time you may be able to identify them, whereas the Internet is not as revealing. It's always best to show courtesy in interacting with others. It doesn't cost anything. It might even save your life.
I’ve read a lot of confrontations on forums. Unfortunately, it’s probably only a matter time before the media start covering deadly assaults that started in a chat room or a message board. Senseless.
