The best thing you can do beyond that is not deal with the high school he is at but just call the college he wants to go to and work with them THEY WILL HELP HIM WITH NO ISSUES.

That's why I just went to the source because she was doing too much. They had finals on MLK day at his school but he had something to do, so he wasn't there. I raised enough of a stink that they allowed him to take it on another day.

This happened to me today with my sister-- constantly ask to borrow money and when told no have the audacity to get mad or respond "I know you have it, you just being stingy."
WTH? We both work 40 hrs a week. You need to learn to budget accordingly and NOT spend your money on unnecessary things. She got mad when I recommended she attend a free budgeting class at the local community center.

never knew it could happen
I never paid much attention until I began reading this thread, but I'm learning that there are several, almost too many things that irk me. The wildest of the annoyances is that from time to time, I get on my own nerves. What's messing with that?

Sometimes it feels like Sammy Davis Jr. himself is tap dancing on my last nerve when it comes to hand washing, or the lack there of. I'm so annoyed by non-hand washers and sadly, they're everywhere. They're in the ladies room in the mall coming out of the stall headed straight to then out the door. WTH? Then I'll walk thru the food, sit down to eat and at the very next table there sits that same non-hand washer with her food licking the ketchup off of her fingers. That's just wrong. At the pizza place where I once worked, I hoped I was seeing things the first time it happened- unfortunately not. This non-hand washer would come back from a delivery right into the kitchen and start making pizzas. And I actually used to order from there? Wow! This is just two true examples of nastiness and if I had it my way, non-hand washers would be prosecuted and punnished accordingly. And that's what irks me.

I can't stand when a person lies to me but it irks me worse if I know they're lying. The straw that's gauranteed to break this camels' back is when ppl lie to my face.

Call me a knit picker, complainer or whatever else you deem fit, but I can not tolerate being repeatedly tapped on my arm or shoulder etc especially during a conversation. OMGoodness! It's worse than the gnats at the BBQue!

O.K. So I'm a department stores' website viewing the weekly sale paper and there were some really good deals (50 to 70% off) basically store wide. Then I get to a page of all black hair products which I'd never seen happen before and besides the fact that the savings were only 50 cents to $1 off, in the middle of the page it says 'celebrate black history month'. What's wrong with this picture?
1. Everything else on sale is at least half off like I said before.
2. How is giving us a 50 cent price break a way of celebrating our history?
3. The sale starts today (sunday) and it's the SECOND DAY OF MARCH!
Now, am I wrong for feeling offended and irked?

I've noticed that too. At a Kroger's near my apartment, they have monthly sales all over the store except in the black hair care section (which they offensively label "ethnic products" ) And to boot, the prices are jacked WAY up. Like $3.50 for Rain shampoo ($1.99 at Wal-Mart) and $6.00 (no kidding) for Sulfur 8 hair moisturizer. WHAT GIVES?! No sales, ever?

People (particulary white folks) trying to see what I'm eating by putting their faces and breathing all over my food. Pisses me off.
