Dining in a restaurant, let's say a mexican restaurant, and advising the waitress that I'm vegan, explaining that I don't eat any animal products and her response is: "Well, we have salads..."
I end up placing and order: "I'd like your 3-taco dinner... corn tortillas with beans, rice, lettuce, tomato, jalapeno peppers and avocado."
It was delicious!
There is life WITHOUT meat!

I know; but you know that meal I tasted was by accident. Well, we left the store and my little brother says "Awww-man, it dont even have meat". lol, My mom and I started laughing. But it was tasty.
I dont understand it either, I love me some grilled vegetables, the size of my hand! Esp. portabella mushrooms on the grill. I should actually try the vegan or vegitarean (think thats spelled right) route. I only like fish the most, I can go with out white and red meat (esp. ground-beef, ugh). |

Yes lil sis! I would really encourage it. Check out my thread in the health section defining the levels of vegetarianism.
