Let's not forget, it was not long ago that whites used to call Filipinos "N-words" (research America's imperial war in the Philippines when America took it from Spain ) because many them had (& have) thick lips, broad noses, etc. Now, apparently there is an understanding to forget all of that. But, we shouldn't forget it.

Malays (Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia) & Thais too --especially the darker ones-- seem to combine Asian and African facial features in various combinations. For this reason, Tiger Woods (with his Thai mother) may be even more black than it seems.

I mean what does it do to a child when close family, not strangers -- forget strangers --- ... parents & sisters, do that to you ?

And, of course, if they'd do that to her, take three guesses how they'd react to a black negro ???

Ask Asian women why so many of them align themselves with white males, and under-go plastic surgery to take the "slant" from their news. Better yet, examine a lot of the female asian news reporters. You will not find a hella lot of asian females with black males, mainly white or asian males.

I guess that might vary Samoon because I have an Asian aunt who's been married to my uncle (who is black) for the past 20 years. I'm not making a big stink about it but here in the San Diego area you will find several black males married to asian women. It's more common then you might think because I see it everyday.

You are right, Jamie. I do not and cannot refute what you are stating. Being on the west coast, I do travel northwards at times. Yep.....in San Diego....Oakland...Oceanside and the list goes on.

Ask yourself the same question my sista. Alot people date interracial all day long and there's nothing wrong with it, its their choice.
And as for the plastic surgery, plenty of Caucasian women seek to obtain our lips, butts, and attempt to pursue Black Men only to meet up with the Kobes , OJ flavas of the month . Now, my sista marinate on that for a moment. It's all relative.

When you look at situations like this its not surprising. Because, it is atypical of ethniticities who are ashamed of their dark roots. I guess Eva's family would like to conviently forget that they were decendants of Aztecs and not entirely European(as a result of colonization).

you know what madame x..you are right. a friend of mines daughter (black) married a latino and had a dark brown baby girl. he couldn't accept it so he left her. he said the baby is too dark to be his.

O_o wow, this thread has been progressing. That dark/light thing is just ridiculous...especially with an example like Anchal (who I personally think it over-the-top beautiful) & Eva.There is one more like that, Lanisha Cole (who I think is the most gorgeous model ever)---she used to talk about how ppl said she was never as beautiful as other girls (in her school). She is over-the-top as well.
