Blacks & The Asians

My nail stylist is I'd say is in her early 30's. I understand that if she wanted to know more about her black side she could find a way, but her vietnamese family is all she's known and they don't really accept her. She isn't "americanized", and she's been sheltered. Because her family doesn't really accept her you might think that it would motivate her to find acceptance by learning and embracing her black culture. Well some people shut down because they've been so hurt. She has probably been scared of possible rejection from her black side.

I only know bits and pieces about how she grew up. Her father wasn't in the picture, and sometimes she speaks about how her mother doesn't really love her like her other "pure vietnamese" siblings.
Then I thought maybe she's a product of rape? I hope that isn't the case but with some of the stories she's told me about growing up, it is possible. And if that is the case, I agree, she probably is "self hating" because she's been ostracized by her family because of something that she didn't have any control over.

She could've asked questions about "black stuff" earlier in life, but maybe she wasn't comfortable enough. I've been going to her for damn near a year, and just about 8 months ago she started asking me questions. Now that she seems to be interested in learning, I'm glad I can help her.

oh, and HELLO!....it was HER FATHER that kept her and her mother in the closet for all those years. he didn't tell his wife anything about his affair. HE acted like nothing happen.

i'm gonna put it like this. blood or not, i don't have to deal with grudges or attitudes of any family members. to get respect, you have to give respect.....thats how i feel and thats the way it is.... bottomline! 2 fingers up and i'm outta here..

1.How many blackenese do we have, I know a lot of African desendants who were born in China and yet they are still black.

Some of our kids are still being taught in mud schools with no proper toilets & water. Now you tell me if these kids have access to a PC, what am I talking about how about books, no they don't. Now how are they to compete with other races for jobs, a chance at a scholarship when they don't even have food to eat.

A white friend of mine (yes I've got white friends) asked me when AA will be enough, when we could compete for work on merit and I said to him that already I got my job coz, I studied my behind off, but that is not the point. The point in my view I said that AA will be out when for every 1 white person who holds a certain skill, 5 black people have to hold the same skill and maybe we can base things purely on merit.

Welcome to Amerikka! For the playing field is not and will probably never be level in a country whose hx. is pedicated on racism and capitalism. No matter how hard one studies and becomes "successful."

Indeed. A sad state of affairs when a family members allows societal image(powers that be) dominate/contaminate their thinking by showing backlash towards their own blood . And what's really unfortuntate, this twisted thinking will continue to be passed on by generations as long as the Elder member of the family encourage it.

Sadly, unless there is a major change in their thinking, they will most likely pass on their attitudes about skin color and race to their children.

Worse, since they are mixed, they may put down and abuse any darker offspring which they might produce. As I said before, the darker genes came out in their sister, Eva. And, these may come out in their own children and if or when it does, how will they react ?

More than likely, these brainwashed folks will probably engage their offspring in the practice of using Bleaching Cream which isn't uncommon in many countries of dark races.
