Read the book called the "Accidental Asian." by Eric Liu. It will blow your mind. This man seriously thinks he's white. And your right Asians do seem like they try to be "white" more than any other group. I took an Asian American Lit class taught by a Korean and he laid the truth down. He did not try to sugar coat anything. Think about why some Koreans love blonde hair and blue eyes. It's an epidemic in some parts of Korea.

Although the island nation of Japan is assumed by many to have been historically composed of an essentially homogenous population, the accumulated evidence places the matter in a vastly different light. A Japanese proverb states that: "For a Samurai to be brave, he must have a bit of Black blood." Another recording of the proverb is: "Half the blood in one's veins must be Black to make a good Samurai." Sakanouye Tamura Maro, a Black man, became the first Shogun of Japan.
In China, an Africoid presence is visible from remote antiquity. The Shang, for example, China's first dynasts, are described as having "black and oily skin." The famous Chinese sage Lao-Tze was "black in complexion."
Funan is the name given by Chinese historians to the earliest kingdom of Southeast Asia. Their records expressly state that, "For the complexion of men, they consider black the most beautiful. In all the kingdoms of the southern region, it is the same."
The first kingdom in Vietnam was the Kingdom of Lin-yi. Its inhabitants possessed "black skin, eyes deep in the orbit, nose turned up, hair frizzy at a period when they were not yet subject to foreign domination and preserved the purity of this type."
The fate of the Black kingdoms and the Black people of Far East Asia must be tied to increased pressure from non-Africoid peoples pushing down from northern Asia. Indeed, the subject of what might be called "Black and Yellow racial and cultural relations in both ancient and modern times" is so critical that it must be developed as a special area of study. It is of particular importance to African and African-oriented scholars and historians.

The friend who told me that "blacks try and intimidate others" is Cambodian. It doesn't matter what nation you are from, if you aren't exposed to other cultures, you will accept stereotypical beliefs as fact and act accordingly.

Just a thought.
This says a lot to me about self-hate.

Are you sure about the statement you've just made? There alot of Ethniticities who are Non Caucausian ( of Dark Races) and have been brainwashed by the effects of colonization/slavery. Lets not forget our own people.

The African presence in Southern Asia can not be denied. Heck, you have pygmy remnants scattered in various parts of the region. And, New Guinea is nothing but negro; unless you believe they are a separate race from that of the African.
I have long believed that many people in Southern Asia are mixed. The children of darker blacks and Japanese look like people in the Filipinos, Malaysia, come on.
A Filipino coworker once spoke of the negrito presence in her homeland. It is more likely her people are the result of an ancient mixing.
I notice certain Vietnamese have slightly thicker lips and broader noses than the Chinese. Are they slightly black ?
However, certain people would rather die than to be connected to the African.
I think East Indians with their caste thinking are the most resistant in that regard. The people prefer whiteness even if they are almost black themselves.

Preach. You're definitely keeping the Afro in the chat no doubt. This is fact some don't want to speak on.
