My first ditch...
It's a must that I bury two words that I am so tired of hearing. First in... "UPGRADE". Oh my goodness, I cant stand to hear that word not one more time. From B's song, to ordering a new cell phone right on down to tampons. There's nothing left to upgrade. *shoveling dirt on top of it in the hole*
Different bird-same stone. When used in politics, particularly in reference to illegal immigration...."COMPREHENSIVE"...you gotta go!

Obviously your burrying a bad experience or two but have you ever thought that your path crosses with the path of the type of person youve described for a reason. Your sense of spirituality, strength and positivity may be why people are drawn or sent to you since they are lacking. Not all angels have wings.

The words "real man" and "real woman." BOTH are tangents, have live organs, tissues, etc. so this, in itself, makes them real PEOPLE. Please use in their corrective definitions.
