Front page news thread

okay i dont like to watch the news because it is just too sad i know that i have to atleast watch 1/2hour a day so that i will know what is going on in the world but this thread is filled with nothing but sad news

i hope yall dont mind but im going to hunt down some good news because all the murder, rapist, baby killers, child neglect and i could go on and on about this thread.

okay please can each member go somewhere and find some news that is not sad and depressing (crying) and post it in the front news section

i just went there and replied to some stuff you put awhile ago that i thought was interesting hopefully folks will join in the conversation since i was the first replier

We understand how you might feel about Front Page News, but that's all it is "News". Unfortunately we don't live in a white picket fenced world sweetie.

No news is good news I'm sure, and this is the real world we're living in at the time. I wish I could remedy this by having the Disneyland Global or the Good News Journal available. But I can't.

Here's a suggestion.. and only a suggestion because I don't own the site here. But if you come across a Front Page News thread you don't feel comfortable with, don't read it.

All we try to do here is keep our members updated with what's happening in this mad, mad world of ours . Wheather we get it from websites, our local news channels, or whatever.

We'll try to do better and I can only speak for myself. But if everything were revolved Pleasentville, there would be no Front Page News would there?

there is some good front page news im sure for everybody that gets shot somebody graduated and for everyone who is seriously hurt somebody succeeds in life but the people just dont want to talk about it and i never said i wouldnt read it and i didnt say dont post the bad stuff i just asked for some good news lighten up sweety

Ultimately the goal is that more people will post news so you get a more diverse posting of news. For example, user x may post entertainment news and user y may be known for political news, while user z posts news on music.

True we don't live in Pleasantville, but this is something that we all can make an effort to improve on; I will try harder to post some 'feelgood' and 'positive' news.
