I am 20;(I think you read that part)...But whats with *clearing throat*, my mother is fourty(just rounded her age out of respect) & people think we're sisters (& that Im in highschool-) Whatever your age is, you look young too! It is funny that you bring up the fact about me being old enough to hold a convo; my mother and I was talking about that the other day.
I have always been 'mature' for my age, I never got in grown folks business-thats sooo disrespecful. Im sure this forum has alot of folks who are older then me, but I enjoy being apart of it.

Most of them on here, are very intelligent, that is the ONLY reason for most of us (hopefully). But to do run-down, blackplanet.com is to "young" and topix.com is just full of hateful people. Then there is the sites, where people get upset with you for being the young, BLACK, intellectual, that you are (that is a long story) for having an opinion. Hope we're well excepted here! Other than that, today is going to be just another good day for me! The snow melted up in NY-Aw, dont you hate it when that happens-I miss the winter weather up there!

Doing pretty good, especially at work. I got major problems with the people I work with, I've never working with a bunch of spineless punk @ss men in my life and until recently I had a hard time dealing with it. One of them is a "rev" and he conducts himself like the devil is walking on earth but he's protected because he's real cool with the boss outside of work. I've been walking around with my mean mug on ready to kill somebody but as of this year I started to try and be nice and get along just to help my stress and it's been working real well. They've been cool, still punk @ss men but haven't been straight up @ssholes all day and it's been working. I go home relaxed and not ready to kill somebody which is good. Got the wifey at the crib with the kids, getting good loving and eating very good every night. Somebody got to be praying for me, LOL.

LOL! Right, that was a throwback... I'll try to be on my best behavior going forward. The snows melted for the most part here in Chicago as well - now... all I need is the Whispers, huh??

Sis, you are more than welcome here! I was just teasing you on the age thing. It's all love and respect. I was once 20 years old, and contributed to these types of dialogues as well. For me, I've learned that when I give them energy, become pissed, alter myself, I'm adding to their energy and giving them all the more power.

I'm trying. What's so frustrating is that right now at this point in my life I need to have a job, this job is pretty good, great benefits which is the most important thing so I don't wanna mess this up and get fired for beating some fools @ss who isn't worth it so that was the real stressful part because what can you really do. So now I'm cool and try to at least get along and it's been aight. They just have no idea that the cat that's here at work is not the same cat in the street.

Ain't nothing wrong with being young. This place is cool though, most of the time even when there is a disagreement it doesn't turn into name calling like other sites I've been on. You're more than welcome here, look at me I ain't been here long and this place made me feel at home real quick. I look at myself as the country cousin down south, LOL. Yeah eat a salad or some greens and get that stuff moving around in your body and go sit down and get rid of that. LMAO.
