Is this discrimination or what

I went to the social security office monday to get some paperwork... Well i had just came from KFC (black ppl love chicken LOL...) and had an ice water... Went inside the building and a cop stopped me right in my tracks talking about you cant bring drinks inside so i walked out and drunk my water... About 10 minutes later a white woman came in same item and he didnt tell her ish... I wanted to mase that cop with his own ish.... Then you heard a little boy ask his mom why i couldnt bring my drink in and she tried to explain.... Rascism breeds nothing but confusion... I think its unfair that people with authority are usually rascist... In my town you better believe half these cops here dont... DO NOT.... Like or respect black people which is why we let a lot of the harrassment that the law does go... We feel it will be harder on us if we try to pursue...Just for the record i have no respect for the law enforcers....

check this one out!...i haven't been in alabama long, from nyc,and never dealth with bad cops.when i was 17,had 2 brothers ,one older one younger.we were leaving a teen club, stopped in an empty parkin lot,by 3 white cops...i notices about 50 yards back was two cop cars only one brotha standing next to one...i assume those cops told him to stay there.(i guess they didn't want him to hear what they were going to say).i figure they should have let him come with them,i don't think he would have ratted on them anyway!...well it was when brothas had started wearing one earring.they harrassed my baby brother, calling him a fag,and told one of the girls who were with us to open her mouth them yelled out ewwww!...one cop bet the other $5 if he snatched the earring out of my brothers ear...tears came into my eyes.i hated the black cop,not that i guess he could do anything, but because i felt he knew what was pretty much gonna happen.i cried also because i thought to myself,i love my baby brother, and if they think they're going to beat him or anything like that,....then i'll be beaten dead, because i wasn't going to let them hurt him for nothing...to this day i hate cops...now i know all can't be placed in that catagory, but still i trust no cop, black or white male or female.and like you...i have no respect for them!

Every time I ever encounter a police officer he is condescending and rude to me. I've been pulled over in my car and twice I was searched for weapons when I was only driving a few MPH over the limit. The police in this country is a disgrace.

I am a professional woman and yet when the police see me in my car I keep getting pulled over and have to show my documents. Can't a Black woman own a decent car in this country? I am seriously thinking of emigrating to Africa :(

Thumbs down

A few years back. I was stopped three times in one week, because i was driving a jeep. I guess being black, and driving a particular vechicle means you're up to no good,or slinging much dope in some donut eating cops eyes!

Once my boyfriend was taking me home from work and I forgot to put my seat belt on. Two cops on bicycles stopped us and asked us to pull over. One of the cops asked my boyfriend to get out of the car and walk to the back of the car. The cop searched him from head to toe and then searched the car. The other cop came up to me while I was still in the car and shined a bright flash light in my face. He asked me personal questions that had nothing to do with not wearing a seat belt. After the cop searched my boyfriend he told us, "I better not CATCH you in this area again without wearing a seatbelt or it will be big trouble next time." He said that in a very threatening manner and the two cops rode away on their bicycles.

I have never been so scared in my life. Now that I have my own car (A 2003 Hyundai Accent, bright red) I'm scared I will be picked on and stereotyped.

if you're not doing anything wrong then don't worry about it. and it doesn't matter what car or any other vehicle you have just as long as you don't break the law.

it makes me sad hearing about this story. it is true that not all people are civilized enough but it is disappointing, if not disgusting that people of authority have this behavior.
