I'm sick of this damn car...

I got the **** off of ebay for a stack n' a half, a steal. Then paid 7 dollars to have it shipped from NY down here to the bottom. Lo n' behold the power-steering didn't work, neither did the brakes. There were also problems with the shifter. Needless to say it wasn't quite as described in the listing on eBay, oh well. I've got it now right? So, drop another 3 n' a half dollars to fix those problems n' now I'm ridin'. But, the carb is boo-boo. Now I'm back in the shop, droppin' 3 n' a half more dollars for a new Edelbrock 650 cfm electric choke carb. What's the bill so far? 7 n' 7...1400..then the initial 1500..3 stacks still aint bad. Now I'm back in the streets...but my passenger door (forgot to tell y'all I couldn't even get the damn doors open after I drove it off the tow truck when it arrived here. You'd think the ******* coulda had the decency to tell me not to lock 'em... ) isn't workin' properly...so after about 3 visits to the shop n' 2 dollars it's workin'...sorta. But...now I get this wobbly sensation when I reach high speeds and I notice the front tires are worn pretty bad. So back to the shop we go :) Tires 75 a piece..just the front plus a dollar for the alignment. That wobbly sensation? Need new ball joints n' such..all together I come out 4 dollars poorer after that visit. And what a visit that turned out to be, check it out Let's tally up again...we were at 3 grand..2..4..3600..I'm gettin' pissed now, I coulda dropped 4 stacks on somethin' real decent n' local. Later it was the water pump, hole in the dual Flowmaster exhaust, 'nother air cleaner... We at damn near 5 grand here, this is some N' now what you ask? The brakes...again...it's parked b/c I can't stop the ****. Air in my lines for whatever reason. I recently changed the front brakes but shortly after there was air all in the lines. Me n' my father bled the air outta the master cylinder n' that didn't work. Later we bled all 4 tires n' got a new gasket to go under the plastic cap for the master cylinder b/c it was bent all outta shape from the air n' wasn't sealing properly. Worked for a bit but I was drivin' the other day n' it's at it's worse, had to push the pedal to the floor (literally) n' it wouldn't stop but just slow down. So now it's ****** me again n' I assume I need a new booster n' master cylinder.

I love this car..I really do. Was my dream car back in school n' I got it. It's sweated everywhere I go..comments everyday n' although I was in the shop alot it's never put me down in the year that I've had it..smooth ride n' all that. Lotsa power but I just don't think it's worth it anymore. Cracka offered me 4 stacks and a box chevy..I may just hop on that offer. Damn money I done dropped into this car not even 'cludin' things I've done to it. Damn car's a money eater n' I got no room right now for that.

N' don't come at me w/the "Why would you buy a car w/o bein' able to look at" etc. etc. It seemed like a deal that couldn't be beat... You live n' you learn. I forgot to tell y'all 'bout how (since it was an outta state car) long it took me to get it registered n' plates for it...and in the process it was towed...po-po peeped it n' fk'd w/me..aint that sweet? 5 dollars to get it out the pound :) You gotta love it...

Served you right, why would you buy a car and a used one at that from ebay, and furthermore, :) a car you couldn't look at before buying.

Thought you had more sense than that, but it would appear that you have more cents than sense. when it comes to cars.

Yes, feel free to do so, as will I. It is quite amusing how some things turn out and others don’t.

In all cases n’ things I have both sense and cents, always have n’ will. I showed poor judgment in going through with the purchase of that car but I will not kick myself for making a mistake. After all, I’m only human and a very young one at that. I can’t n’ wouldn’t change anything if I could, I just won’t do it in same fashion. It’s been (and still is) a pain but I’ve enjoyed it. I’ll always have an old school whip, whether it be ‘olo or in addition to something else. I just can’t knock ‘em.

There is nothing wrong with that, none of us are perfect hence why we sometimes make poor judgements. Still, the time you had with the car was great. :)

Hope you keep a picture of it on your wall, so that later in life when you are telling your kids about what happened, they will have something to look at, and smile. LOL :)
