It might not seem so at first, but this video clip is a very good metaphor for what the black community could do if we worked together for our greater good.

Perhaps you've seen this clip, its been very popular. On safari, a man captured this footage and its a very powerful message of how unity can conquer any obstacle. Only 8 minutes, but you have to watch the whole thing to get the full effect.

For Two Thousand Seasons, a minority -- the lions --- were able to intimidate the majority --- the buffalo. The lions were grossly outnumbered, and not particularily bright. But, they, nevertheless, were able to become the King of the Jungle because of their asili's predilection towards violence, terror, and fighting together to scatter their frightened foes.

But, this was to be a new day. Today, it began as usual, with the minority attacking the most vunerable of the majority -- the young black male.

But, this time, providence stepped in. As the fierce enemy was consumed by his lust to consume the young black male, a third player entered the fray ---a crocodile:

From the Papyrus of Nu:
"I am the Divine Crocodile which dwelleth in his terror, I am the Divine Crocodile, and I seize my prey like a ravening beast. I am the great and mighty Fish which is in the city of Qem-ur. I am the Lord to whom bowing and prostrations are made in the city of Sekhem."

Oh, the joy of the Black Family when we finally remember that we, the buffalo, the bull, are the Sons of RA!

From the Papyrus of Nu:
"I am Nekh, I am Ra, coming forth from Nu, the divine soul of the god. I create the god Hu; and wrong is the thing which I dominate. I am Ausar, the maker of Maat whereon Ra doth live each and every day. I am invoked by the name of Bull, and I am addressed by the company of the gods by the name of Neb."

And, led by the Divine, the Sons of RA ceased to abandon their young and, instead, turned as ONE and came forth into day, not in anger or hate or wrath, but as Children of the Most High God. Slowly, wisely, measuring each step, as ONE, the Sons of RA, surrounded and subdued the fierce enemy which is selfish desire.

Very intersting video and analogy! The major difference between us and those buffaloes is that the buffaloes ALL seemed to know what the lions were and what they were capable of. Alot of us just don't see it!

That's true......from this, you get the feeling that ALL the buffalos came together...nobody backed down.........they rolled up like they had every cousin, play cousin, auntie, unk, god sistahs, god bruthas....ERE BODY.... The buffalos had enough of the "Kings of the Jungle" and those lions got straight up DELT WIT!

Wow!! Amazing. They all came back to save one little calf from 4 hungry lions!!

This is the perfect analogy of how we should be concerning each other. Great post sis!

Yes, you are so right....these water buffalos realized their strength in numbers and worked together to go back and reclaim their YOUNG ONE!!

Did you notice that the lions never did start trying to bite down on that young calf after it was pulled back from the crocodile, they had the calf surrounded, on the ground, but they saw those hundreds of buffalos coming back, by the time the buffalos appeared in the video, those lions had some serious second thoughts going on.

Hmmmm,

Interesting indeed. Seems some of us are not practicing what we are trying to preach here: Supporting black leaders undeserving is the equivalent of allowing a lion, dressed as a buffalo to infiltrate and destroy the weak.

...think about it....
