Exclamation Wake Up Brothas And Sistas!

http://www.youtube.com/watch...

We have become the modern day Sara Baartman, lets change that...The B's, H's, N's and other
derogatory names and acts must be stopped if we are ever to regain our unity we once had, we shouldn't be praising and respecting white and non-blacks and then disrespecting and slandering our own black women and men, stop idolizing pimping and making babies, and stop idolizing the money and other forms of wealth instead of getting an education that will fill your heads with more than just fast money.

Look at brothers as KINGS and LEADERS, and let them know that.....LOOK at OUR BEAUTIFUL and STRONG Black Women as QUEENS AND MOTHERS, instead of what these videos put in your head about H's and B's, and tells you to have more than 1 woman and preaches fornication and adultery, THATS NOT COOL OR BEING A MAN, THATS BEING A COWARD AND NOT BEING RESPONSIBLE!!!

Love your fellow brother and sister as they did during the struggle to get free, i'm seeing in these days that our people feel like because they're free on a piece of paper and don't have the chains and shackles, that we can now act like the slave masters acted and treat our own as LESS, wtf is up with that....THIS MUST STOP!

I appreciate your kind-spirited words, but It's quite a stretch.

Words and eptithets are not what's dividing us. The black collective is not struggling in the home, the workplace, in college and financially because of the Bs, Hs, and Ns. You are giving words far to much power.

The fundamental problems is far deeper and it starts with individual responsibility as well as the erosion of black leadership. Until we demand more from ourselves as individuals and collectively, we will continue to have major problems. Until we demand more from black leaders; yes those who choose to represent us when it's beneficial to them to do so, we will continue to have major problems.

Will the death of the B,H and N make a difference, not at all. But what can make a difference is our ACTIONS, not words, not speeches, and not prayer alone. We need to be a people of ACTION.

True shyt right there Dblack! Bytches, Ho3z and Ni99az been around for decades. It's all about the responsibility that WE have to teach our children what's right and what's wrong. That's what black leadership is in it's truest form. Teaching the youth. It doesn't matter what comes out of our tv screens and speakers. We have to combat that false reality with REAL TEACHING.

Our attitudes collectively will never go back to where it was during our struggle for freedom...it's impossible. People who didn't live during those times don't feel that way because we didn't go through it personally. WE SHOULDN'T FORGET however, and we shouldn't forget to teach our children the correct ways to conduct themselves in public and amongst each other. I can't tell you how many times i've been on public transportation on the way to work and have heard young girls(mostly) speaking disrespectful when they're sitting right next to someone's mom or grandma. I mean, I grew up listening to NWA, Too Short, Kool G Rap and we still weren't that disrespectful to the elders. IT STARTS AT HOME...if they don't get it at home it's hopeless.

Good Point bro, i didn't really explain the right way what i was trying to infer, i basically mean that once our brothers and sisters start respecting each other, and eliminating the constant flow of these words to each other, and replacing them with more respectful terms, then we could eliminate the hate amongst ourselves a little in so that we have a start at unity, sure it takes a lot more, but i feel like what this video i posted said is very unique and true, where our brothers and sisters are looking to the rap videos as there source of instruction at how to live and treat others, rather than using our parents who are the foundation of the family!

Thats a good thread, and the explanation of sara is lengthy, i'm sorry i couldn't be, but its a eye-opening example of what whites have viewed our people as, and thats as some freakish element that is not worthy of respect, and we seem to want to exploit the same sh*t way of mentality on these videos and the way we speak to each other! I think we need to turn that around fast! I for one have always used respectful words towards our brothers and sisters, and only as a young and wayward youngster did i ever think to disrespect another brother or sister, but i quickly changed that mentality around, especially after giving much thought to the fact that the VERY WORDS WE USE TO DEGRADE OUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS, THE WHITE MAN HAS USED ALWAYS TO DEGRADE US!!

Thats almost like we're enslaving our own people, and we have enough enslavement of the mind coming from white america as it is! We don't need to do anymore damage to ourselves!

Peace and Love

Exactly!!! A lot of our brothers and sisters need to free their minds from the mentality that white america set on our people.....a mentality of HATE AND MISTRUST TOWARDS YOUR OWN, and this has trickled down through each generation of our people! It was a way to keep us from being united and we keep practicing the same sh*t over and over again, and whites enjoy seeing this, as it reaffirms their polluted minds that they're somehow superior!
