WRONG!!!! Contact lenses should be used for CORRECTIVE EYESIGHT brothas and sistas, not to try and emulate a WHITE/EUROPEAN FEATURE! LOVE YOUR OWN FEATURES, GET PRIDE IN HOW YOU LOOK SO YOU WILL NOT LOOK DOWN ON YOURSELF AND ANOTHER BROTHA OR SISTA FOR THAT MATTER!! This actions of shedding your african qualities and features is very RAMPANT throughout the community, and it all stems from WHITE AMERICAS Brainwashing/subliminal messaging advertising, because our youth are not seeing the equal share of their TRUE beauty in the MEDIA of which has taken over as the voice unfortunately for MANY!! So thats why our young and old view it as credible, WHEN IN FACT ITS VERY FALSE!!

must say this about the eyes and hair. my mom and i have always laughed and thought the opposite of what you're saying about that. we consider the whole hair and eye thing a form of self-expression. i know there are some confused ones out there, but i see the colored hair everyday in my neck of the woods and those women just change their colors with the weekends for the heck of it! no black/white issues whatsoever. and with the eyes, we can't deny that black people come with all the eye colors of the rainbow just like whites. again, i know there are some confused ones, but from what i'v seen everyday, these people just like green eyes for the week and then they're trying hazel ones the next, matching outfits and mess
