Black Face vs Clown Face

CHARACTER:
A clown face, is basically a whiteface character-type is often serious, all-knowing (even if not particularly smart), bossy, and cocky. This type of face, is the ultimate authority figure. He serves the role of "straight-man".
CHARACTER:
A black face-character type is displayed as ignorant, lazy, buffoonish, superstitious, joyous, and musical.

This seems a bit crazy, but I have always wanted to know;
Why Was There Never A "CLOWN" face created? I am not taking about circus clowns, Im a talking about a WHITE face instead of a BLACK face.
I just thought these characteristics listed were something to think about... Even when I was younger in school, I always put two & two together...

Black face, ruby-red lipstick, tar-paint
White face, would have to be a clown, ruby-red lipstick, pail-white paint
I would appreciate your thoughts (honestly) Has anyone ever wondered this but me???????
