This is truth, shown by the success by 'Black Wallstreet' and the origin of Atlanta. The communities were self sustaining and considered wealthy amongst the surrounding districts.
In NYC, there are large concentrations of Nubians in Brooklyn of every financial class, but for the most part, they receive little regard because their purchases are mainly made outside of their neighborhoods and in white controlled ones like Manhattan as a whole. If we actually restrict our purchases to our own districts, less money would be flowing out and more political power could be gained... but instead they must visit the high retail stores on 34th and 42nd street in the city instead of mom and pop establishments in their own area which are Nubian owned.
The economics of this could be seen and currently disastrous on all facets.

Okay, but what happens after we start circulating the black dollar more? What to do with the profits. How do we find out what businesses are black-owned. Should black owned business-to-business get a discount? How do we know how much, and what if the business is doing razor-thin profits? How do we figure out which businesses to start?

My brothas and Sistas,
Capitalism is not the 'beast' or enemy in any way. As a matter of fact, Capitalism gives the gifted and motivated more opportunities for growth and success than any other economic system.
True, uncorrupted Capitalism yearns for the person or business with the best goods and services, immune to social, economic or racial elements.
Government corruption and self-interests is the problem.

As long as it isn't copyrighted, your works could be sampled and images made in drawings taken. The only things which can't be copyrighted is scent and color, besides that, any greeder miser could take your work for public gain.

You increase your geographical and economic area while continuing to solidify your powers politically.
You check their tax records to the owning entity, tax records are public, and easier to see if they are a mom and pop establishment. Obviously, major franchises are for the most part, white or jewish, but ceasing to purchase from these establishments and finding the smaller diners or restaurants which serve cultured food, they are obviously owned by Nubians.
To figure out what business to start, look to see what is already there in your area. From what I remembered of my former home [Brooklyn, NYC] there were too many beauty shops and supply chains, clothing stores, liquor stores, restaurants, chicken shops, music stores, and pawn shops. There weren't enough book stores, recreation centers, and specifically, movie theaters.
All businesses when they first start out do poorly, it takes awhile to gain a substantial following while taking business away from the already established machine. Usually, they find their niche, or close their business. If they have razor thin profits, the reason is probably from the above. The most popular store types in urban communities are usually 2-3 on a commercial block and compete amongst themselves while bigger chains are also there with them.

in a tread about "what is capitalism" i ask if people support property rights and copyrights. no one responds or seems to understand the question. why is it that with all these great minds i cannot get an answer? do you believe in the right to privately own property? in the new african black state will there be the right of copyright?
when you set up the economic system of the future black state what will it be?

I do support property rights, but in the reference of capitalism, copyrights are place there so that only those who place their stamp [patent] legally would get paid for it and have litigious rights to it.
It's like 8 people with the same idea and working towards it separately with the same method, the one who perfects it or finishes it past the thought and theory should get the copyright...
