Exactly the point I try to make everyday....

We have the strength and believe it or not we have the numbers, we have the resources if we take control of what they take from us in Africa YES AFRICA because many of us here maybe royalty over there. We should reclam or roots not just find out what "tribe" we came from but what our TRIBE AND FAMILY OWNS and take that sh!t back. We need to stop being reactionary and be proactive and handle these types of problems before they are turned into national news. The yt's of this nation fix and keep many of their ills under the table and fix them WAY before we find out half of them..............why the hell we don't try to do the same

What this brother said was on point, and I one time I recalled he at one time post messages here.........but I think he was ran off for being RIGHT and some didn't feel it (not talking about the staff but some members that attacked statements like this one) Hopefully this and other things will wake us up to see that we should be doing a hell of a lot more in defense of our DIGNITY.........

I would be interested to know what the victims (the women's basketball team) felt about Imus' return to radio. Has anyone seen/heard anything from them to these regards?

i have never ignored you bro jaboom when you was posting your thoughts but i have to admit that i along with some of us's have used the word BS to people such as you and him when they're making warnings signs for us's to take heed. but the more i see what's going on the more i start listening.

why the hell we don't try to do the same?

it will come to time when some of us's will start standing up and start fighting back. when? i don't know. .

Hopefully this and other things will wake us up to see that we should be doing a hell of a lot more in defense of our DIGNITY.........

i see some of young folks are stepping up to the plate now and telling it like it is. its a good start. we still have some ways to go.

For the LAST time, I am going to say it AGAIN...where the sam-hell does the Media get off "slyly" passing a "rule" that religious and/or political figure-heads represent the WHOLE black community? Make 'Samoon understand?

For you see, this "perception" IS part of the problem--these public figures do NOT totally represent ME, my stance or positions, thoughts, etc. Everyone waiting on someone ELSE to save you/us. And WAKE UP--it is just not going to magically happen in this manner.

BS huh lol....I hear you, I felt the same way a while back at times TILL I STARTED FEELING THE AFFECTS OF THIS NATIONS RACISM AND OPPRESSION FIRST HAND. I fully understand where you are coming from with this comment, because "Americans" are sheltered for the most part from the truth. If some one brings up talk of a "New world order" we tend to laugh at them even if the facts are brought to our eye's.

When every one decides to stand up and being to fight....hopefully it won't be too late. The time is past now we should have been looking at the way the world works and start defending our people years ago. We got comfortable after King and Malcolm were murdered by this government because they pacified us to keep us from truly rebelling against this place. People are slowly waking up again thanks to Bush but we should have been up before Regan started ripping us apart.

Yes lots of young folk are standing up BUT we need everybody involved in the change of our situation. We need each other to make stands and each other to defend us. We can't wait for Amerikkka to change because this country was built on our backs and the gears of this nation was lubricated with blood (I slipped in to a poetic moment there but life is poetry) We need experience of the old and the energy of the young to make it.

For now on if nothing else.........LET'S LISTEN TO EACH OTHER INSTEAD OF DISCRIMINATING AGAINST EACH OTHERS AGE..........solutions start at home........
