What a joke, this man has truly lost his marbles, and as the article stated this is truly a case of scientific racism, and such remarks are very offensive.

I don't recall the pyramids being built by westerners.

What a disservice he has done to science. This kind of racism is not healthy for young children in the classroom where they are children of different races. What a way to teach racism in the classroom.

This creates an excellent opportunity for Continental and Diasporic Africans. We should counter argue that Western oppression against Africans in the form of colonization, genocide, slavery, and other crimes against humanity have left a huge psychological scar, which gives the appearance that we are far less intelligent than we truly are. To prove it, we demand the removal of all non-descedents of indigenous Africans from the continent of Africa and allow African people to live there amongst themselves, providing for themselves, with self determination and with no outside interference. Then in a century we'll take their IQ tests and they can take our IQ tests. By then, we'd be crowned jewels of the planet...again!

Mmhmm. I am still waiting for a conclusive, accurate study of IQ versus race.

What would have to be done for this study to be valid is eliminate external causal factors, such as substandard education for one of the races (all would have to be equal), differing nutrition that affects a child's mind (adults often do not recover from childhood malnutrition... brain and body both are damaged permanently), and the whole lot. I would even like to see this conclusive study being performed upon individuals whose parents health has not been affected by socioeconomic factors and who have engaged in proper prenatal care. I would like this study done on individuals whose parents have the same level of parenting skills and the same access to what a child needs to thrive.

I would love to see a test that eliminates everything but race and have it done on enough individuals to manage a representative sampling.

I surmise, myself, that there is no true difference in raw IQ between the races. I have seen no conclusive documentation that any race is substandard in raw intelligence to another.

I have known White geniuses, Black geniuses, Native American geniuses, Asian geniuses, etc, and I am not a slouch myself. I have known those with lower IQ's in all of these races as well.

This study I desire is not going to occur. I know it. However, I do not accept the "fact" that any race is intellectually substandard until a test can be done that eliminates everything but race.

She said something very interesting: We need to know who is funding this and why? What are their intentions? They already know the results of this "scientific" find is totally false.

I wasn't commenting on Sonflour's post, I was commenting on Meroe's. And I'm not "asking" for anything. Re-read my post.

You make it sound like the dude was in his lab last week and 'discovered' the inferiority of Africans. They've been trying to prove that Blacks were intellectually substandard since the days of colonization. There has been a lot of published research 'proving' the inferiority of Blacks. My point was the same as Meroe's, that none of this work is credible.
