Well, I guess we have not been paranoid after all.Things like Willie Lynch syndrome exist because there is a tendency to embrace white supremacy because its indoctrinated in our cultures. Levels of trust have a psychological edge in the minds of people. Look at the doll experiment with black children. Media has persuaded the minds of people to think a certain way. Its not right, but it is what it is.

I don't think it's a bore, I think it's a good thing to see that it's more than a black white thing. People should know that because their Asian or Hispanic or Russian or 5'2 or 6'5 that this affects them. That their not outside that line. So if it's a bore don't read it!

No one stated that your topic was "boring." However it IS, "old socks AND old shoes." You are correct, black people are not the ONLY ones that are victimized and victimize one another for this practice is omni-present in other cultures as well.

Favortism towards light skinned blacks still exists believe it or not. This is why Barack Obama is such a huge hit with most white people and some blacks. If Obama were dark skinned like a Wesley Snipes or a Bernie Mac, I don't think white people, or some blacks for that matter, would support him as they have thus far. As far as they're concerned, he has the "right look". Yep, it still exists. And as long as it exists, the subject will continue to stay relevant.

The bottom line is that we must become accepting of ourselves. This is what is really crucial--IMO. It will take scores to remove this form of thinking as it took scores of being indoctrinated.

Absolutely,agree with you here ATL. If Obama was as black;say the brotha playing the pres on 24, he doesn't seem to be a very aggressive person,which doomed Howard Dean.

All over the websites,and in some Black folks mind is a issue with things concerning all of the range of our color. We have to come together and welcome both the vanilla and chocolate among us.
