Light Skin is in.......

This isn't about black or white! This is bigger then black or white this is about a injustice to all not just a light skin or dark skin black. This is a eye-opener for all who felt they were trippin because they had the small man/women complex, to all that thought Elle magazine defined who they are. This is about an entire society that is being shi__ed on because of their birth beauty. I'm willing to bet it's not just whites who are doing this. It's black, white, asian, hispanic etc,etc that sit at the top and allow who they want in. There was an article I read 8 maybe 9 years about "beautiful" people and the benefits they get for being "beautiful'. What is the perception of beautiful? When I'm in the line at the grocery store looking at magazine covers generally I see light, bright and damn near white. This is bigger then just a simple Black and White thing.

Calm Down My BROTHER!! NO you don't have to BE BLACK but BROWN/DARKER SKIN gets all the discrimination treatment-All I'm saying is that this is NOT NEW AND it IS a BRAINWASHING system via the MEDIA [ magazines-television ads- commercial ads-literature etc...] SUBLIMINALLY thru the artwork in ads there is destruction of the subconsious [sp] mind.Lizaa

Other ethnic groups experience the same stuff, especially whites. Look at how dark skinned Italians are viewed. They are almost considered to be black because the Moors influence. In Latino cultures, there are some who consider themselves as white. They even put it on demographic applications. It is written as non-white hispanic on some forms. Obviously some consider themselves as this because what is the purpose for the wording. I have talk to some Latins and they do admit it is a problem. Lets not forget that many of them try to deny the African presence in Mexico as well. So I think your point is valid. Some consider it as "beating a dead horse" but it is what it is.

Self hatred has been going on for 100's of years in the black community,but the future carry on this hatred which is hurting us black people so much, like in school by me being dark and broke I had a hard time with getting Girls,and I was always considered ugly and laughed at by everybody. i felt the racism because i was dark. the lightskinned dudes always got the chicks,and the lightskinned girls always was popular
