"On another note, Samoon you state that black people need to effect change. I am just wondering what this change would look like to you? what/who would it include or not include?"

"Change" would be black people on the WHOLE. The manner in which to have an "affect" on change would be how WE as black people perceive ourselves as opposed to having others define who we are. Be well.

"There will always be some people who dress like clowns."

Indeed. For if everyone dressed exactly alike, there would be a lack of the creative element. But IMO only, saggin' is akin to "taggin' on the street (which is ill-mannered) and something that my god-mom shared with me when I was a kid: "A fool's name and a fool's face is always seen in a public place." Oh well... :whistling

YES!!!! That is disgusting!!! I hate looking at the stretch marks on someone's back when they bend over in front of me. It's hard not to look-- but the point is, some people need to really check themselves in the mirror before they go out in public. But if people don't care, then that's on them. They shouldn't complain if someone passes judgement on them based on how they look. If you are trying to get a job, you can't show up to an interview looking like that.

I myself don't care for the sag look with the underwear showing for all the world see. Here in south florida it is out of control. Here they just let it all hang out. I have even seen all races of young men doing this. A lot of them it because it is the style and it is suppose to be cool. This is just another case of the streets raising our kids.
