Should whites be afraid of Black people?

As you look across the African American (Black) forums you have a lot of whites that like to participate and give their opinion many of them negative and demeaning toward Black people. Why do so many whites have in their head that all black people are out to get them? How many blacks go to majority white forums and demean them? Isn’t it amazing how this is? many are just antagonist and seem like to start trouble, if you look at history this has been going on seem like forever. What’s up with this? It is amazing how many whites have so much going for them because of the color of their skin. Why do they seem to feel so threatened by (Black) African Americans?


No matter your financial status, religious status, political status, skin tone, or what region of the country you were born. The one thing we have in common is Our Story.

Hee, I made a post like this a while ago. The general thinking seems to be that they're afraid of us because they know that we will one day usurp their positions as the power holding people in the country and eventually, world.

If you kept winning in a card game knowing all the while most of what you did was cheat...don't you think there would be at some point a question in your mind wondering how long "this" would last?

As far as the ones who turn up and start trouble...nothing but folks suffering from "Mental Sphincter-Lockupitus" ... small folks trying to live big. Its been going on forever because unfortunately that mentality refuses to just go away...its like inbred puppies...looks like a dog but meows funny.

So, imagine being one of "those" folk and one day stopping to take stock of your situation... You admit that you've achieved a level of success only through the vestiges of "white priviledge". That, had the playing field been level at anytime, things would have easily been very different. No big house..no second house..no fancy cars, vacations or housekeepers or private schools for kids or riding lessons for the little tykes...

What do you think your response would be after acknowledging that in a fair game you'd have to compete with descendants of a people who withstood everything "your" people could dish out... and still managed to achieve amazing things when the opportunity presented itself and the desire to do so was there?

If you've been raised to believe you are the top of the food chain only to find there's bigger fish out there than you...wouldn't you check to see how far you are from the beach?

They feel threatened because once we as a people recognize our power and full potential, they know it's over for them.

They are called TROLLS. The history of YT and African-Americans, unfortunately has been one of dissension, ethnocentrism and unfair god-given and civil rights.

Hmmm? I have an idea. Why don't you ask a member of the KKK why they formed their terrorist group? :whistling Initially, the KKK was a social organization founded in 1866, however the "latent" hatred of the KKK began to surface and flare during Reconstruction Period. Thus, NAACP was founded in 1909 to promote social and legal justice for Black people (see below).

I do not know your age, however I would suggest that you bone up on your reading on the hx. of Black people in this country, globally and in relation to other racial groups. Nothing amazing about RACISM---> "old shoes, new socks." Mess does not have to be stirred to STINK.

Again, I urge you to LEARN your history, to gain knowledge and true spirit of SELF.

Ok my militant sister I am very well aware of our Ourstory as a people this is all fine and good we have been down the militant path, the marching path, the praying path etc.. But in reality let’s be real we as a people are not doing what is required. Unfortunately you have those of us who egos are so huge that they want to be the great Black hope,get all of the attention etc… we have seen these types in each generation being on T.V. Radio Newspapers etc… While the regular everyday folks go on about their business like nothing is going on. It is up to each and every one of us to do our part it is time for internal action. We have many organizations groups etc.. all trying to get into the spot light sometimes it is best to keep the light off . The purpose pf the original post is to see how ridicules many racist are and their ignorance. These questions was posed for us to think how important it is to utilize all the tools and resources at our disposable and us them for our progress. We are the ones that allow the negativity that invades our communities, we are the ones that allow negative thoughts, music etc… to invade our homes and lives then we look around and say what happen. They have gotten us looking over our backs for so long that we forget to look forward. We have some very intelligent brothers and sisters who are well versed in history and other things but it really is time for us to really put together a workable and doable common since plan without all the emotion and rhetoric that can benefit all of us and something that we can agree upon as a people. We are well aware of what many whites have done, doing and maybe going to do again they have used the same tactics for centuries, Now we know! What are we going to do to adapt and over come? Hey thanks for the feedback this is what it is all about.

Thank you...your views examined. However, my stance is that one is not "militant" in asserting their right to BE in a society that was never meant to accommodate black people. When a social order does not work (such as economic disparity, etc.) then that structure should be evaluated--and challenged. The reality is that we both know that there is not democracy for people of color in this country. That IS the reality. However, you and I are on one accord accord in stating that it IS incompent on us individually and collectively to intelligently change the face of the many obstacles that we continue to face as a race of people. Thanks for your comments as well. :)

They should fear us and the intelligent ones still do. I would argue, however, that many whites no longer fear us the way they once did (you know, when we were still fighting back, less complacent). We are an historically stronger and more intelligent race than them. They systematically broke us down until we could be used as cattle and even after all of their work, there were still plenty of anomalies that rose up and fought back, during slavery and afterwards.

Even today we are stronger physically and emotionally than they are; do we think that they could handle the conditions we have to struggle through? Imagine if one day, enough of us got cued in to our true power and weren't too complacent to do something significant with it? For instance, if every black person of voting age in America voted together we could create our own political party AND get it on most ballots (enough to win anyway).

That's why it's so important for them to slip into tiny forums and create dissent. That's why it's important for them to create distractions for us that take our attention off of relevant issues. That's why it's important for them to tell us that we are weak and powerless. Our division, our ignorance, and our complacency are all key to their control.
