I am so sick of my race being a determining factor in everything...We want to be judged by everyone else based on who we are but we still limit and enslave ourselves to color issues within our community...News flash people they see us how we see us...oops is it the other way around we see us how they see us....

Personally I think sports is a problem among Black boys in the US.
It is constantly promoted as a good thing but it has gone way too far. It is as if many Black men onlyt know how to compete with each other and it is not like there are really a lot of jobs for PROFESSIONAL athletes. It is just that the tiny number of them get ballyhooed to the heavens.
I couldn't stand watching professional sports as a kid because it was soooo BORING. The other kids called me Goofus. But it wasn't like I was bad at sports I just thought it was fun and wasn't willing to kill myself or cheat to win. It just wasn't that important. Many Black boys just end up having childhoods that don't get them ready for a society where the technology gets more and more complicated. Their mothers can't even show them how to fix their bicycles.

Thats real, but it always seems like whenever we start to build something its US who are quick to stand in judgement, criticizing how bad things are going, within our businesses. we complain about being stereotyped in other folks stores,: followed around, discriminated against, poor service or no service, yet its us who keep lining their pockets! its like everyone else eventually gets a pass by us,.... but us

Well more often than is admitted we need to ask momma why daddy ain't there or why momma let herself get laid by a dummy. Believe it is always daddy's fault if you want.

Oh no, UMbra, I wasnt pushing into a debate, of an absent father or why he wasnt there to begin with, I was just stating that these types of skills should be passed down more so by the dad,... tinkering around, fixing stuff such as bikes, playing catch, learning to spar in the front yard etc. I feel needs to come from pops...now if hes an absent, or a deadbeat dad, thats another topic, and not what I was implying to start with..

we can work together but theres some blacks that are too ignorant to get along with. I hate when i go into a store and you got some messy blacks talkin about folks as they go into the store. thats why i hate to go into a store with alot of black people because i know they are up to no good. I hate to say this about my own black folks

This is what I find really weird.
I have been promoting this book on Black websites for about 3 years.
Teach Yourself Electricity and Electronics by Stan Gibilisco
The Electricity
This is the first positive response I got about the book just last April:

This is a White dude that comes to a Black website. No Black people have said anything about it in 3 years.
I spent 4 months a few years ago trying to get a Black woman that was manager of a public library to get a few of the books to have them on the shelves. Every time I tried to talk to her about it she looked at me like I was nuts.
A lot of kneegrows do act like there is something wrong with you if you know what you are talking about.
The internet gives us the ability to alter the global distribution of knowledge of the world. Should we just use it to BS?
