One of the saddest was boyz in the hood. very real though, which is why i think it was so sad because things like that happen everyday.

Soul Plane by far, the saddest thing about was the fact that I cant get back the hour and half or so I spent watching it.

menace to society. man..that young brother never had a chance. if he just only agreed to leave town with the girl maybe he'd live. his grandfather asked him if he cared to live or die. he couldn't even answer it. but it was too late to answer when he got shot. damn!

Menace to society is my favorite film of all time. I think that alot of people view Kane as a good guy. but he was the bad guy in the film. the only difference was that the bad guy was telling his side of the story. Yeah, he shoulda left, but like he said, he would have still been black that is something he could not escape... his blackness.

Set It Off- those girls had their backs against the wall from the beginning and it all ended so tragically
Panther- Huey and Bobby started out with so much potential and hopes for their community and it all ended with their neighborhoods being infested with crack/cocaine...
I cried at the end of both of these movies......

Rosewood for sure....I used to think Boyz n the Hood. But when I see it these days, I see it as a patchwork of cliches, thrown together with not much skill.
