It's possible that the surgeon didn't know. Without the surgery she had trouble eating and drinking, and was so disfigured that she couldn't leave the house.

But then it's possible that the surgeon pushed it because she was such a good case for it, and they had a donor with the same sized features. It's kinda creepy, but I guess medical science can't go forward without somebody taking the risk, maybe pushing the envelope a bit.

It sounds like more than that. There is talk about the surgeon telling her not to talk to the press and also both of them being ofered money etc. Maybe the surgeon wanted to make a name for himself. I'm sure there is more to come.

On GMA this morning. They indicated that she was sitting up and able to drink coffee. No matter what the reason she had for this madness, I don't really feel sorry for her because it's foolish to try and kill yourself when you've got children. There's nothing that can become that bad in your lifetime whereas you feel you need to take your own life. I mean if you really think that much of yourself, do it and get it over with quick, that way it would be less of a burden.

Yeah.. it's a secret alright. A really dumb one as far as I'm concerned. And now she's supposed to be rewarded because she's got someone elses partial face?.. I think NOT. Now I guess in the Summer of 2006 they'll have a movie of the week about this too!! .. Aye Aye Aye.. Lucy!!

It's Like That

Due to the current financial restraints the light at the end of the tunnel will be turned off until further notice.
