Climate change is with us. A decade ago, it was conjecture. Now the future is unfolding before our eyes. Canada's Inuit see it in disappearing Arctic ice and permafrost. The shantytown dwellers of Latin America and Southern Asia see it in lethal storms and floods. Europeans see it in disappearing glaciers, forest fires and fatal heat waves.

Scientists see it in tree rings, ancient coral and bubbles trapped in ice cores. These reveal that the world has not been as warm as it is now for a millennium or more. The three warmest years on record have all occurred since 1998; 19 of the warmest 20 since 1980. And Earth has probably never warmed as fast as in the past 30 years... full article

I say people need to stay the heck out of space

but the earth has been making changes since the beginning of time its just happening at a time where we are living it thats all

^^ What nas said. This has been happening for millions of years and we're beginning to feel the full effect of it.

I guess you can't fool around with nature and it's definately a tell tale sign of more to come.

^Global Warming, I think people & nature are the cause of this. For a long time people just havn't been taking care of our planet or giving our planet the respect that it needs. So the earth reacts to the neglect...Of course the earth will go through changes anyway but, I think people neglecting to care for it properly just speeds the process. I also think that since God is the creator, it isn't looking good from his veiw either...I guess if it seems we don't appreciate another one of this creations, we will have alot more of these changes to look forward to, as the earth cleanses itself.

This can be looked at in terms of the ozone layer, photo-synthesis, green-house effect and so forth. But I'm looking at this from a biblical standpoint.

I tend agree with what you all have said. But, I also feel in my soul that something supernatural is occurring because even our animals are becoming extinct. Record numbers of people are dying from flows, famines, disease, and drought. Maybe this is nothing new but it’s awfully frightening. We look at other people feel sympathy for them, but except the grace of God it could have very well been you and your family.

I’ll admit my bias to biblical prophecy, which undoubtedly colors my outlook on what’s happening in the world today. I just find it amazing that a book written over 2000 years ago can be so accurate. And if it is true, as Samoon said “it’s signs of more to come.” Interesting.

ADDENDUM" "GIANT" Squids (several) very recently washed up on a beach in southern Cali. Scientists are BAFFLED as to what made them "beach" themselves.

We the people are doing the cause for the changes that are happening all arounds. We the people as a whole are going to have fix the effects of the causes in the climate and in nature as well. I agree totally with Samoon that this is a sign of more things to came. We have to get it to people before we destroy the only place we have to live. Because if we keep following bush with his gobal warming needs more study(when has this guy every studied anything) we are going to be in deep trouble.
