I have read a few books on that theory, which are always written by white guys. A book indicative of this belief is Robert Temple's "The Sirius Mystery". These theories are all posited from white guys who have figured out that the ancients were black, but just can not accept that black people were that smart.
That said, I do not totally reject the possibility that there are other celestial bodies in our Universe with intelligent life. Imagine that you were an alien, from a culture tens of thousands of years more advanced than what we are even today. It makes perfect sense to me that, if I had been an alien visiting Earth in the year 5000 BC:
-- I would be mistaken by the people of KMT and the Harappa valley to be a god.
-- Because these people were generous, bright, and motivated by love, I would live among them for many of their generations -- sharing wisdom, and bringing civilization to KMT in exactly thw manner in which oral traditions say Osiris did. At some point, I would take a wife, Isis, and from her would be birthed superior, black, beings -- sons of God, if you will -- destined to lead homo sapiens into a more enlightened evolution.
-- But, then, the day would come, when it became clear that the truly barbarious humans living in the caves in Europe would gain pre-eminence -- Europeans who lived worst than any beast of the field -- stripping completely naked and howling like dogs during their frequent wars, and sacrificing their own children to their fearsome angry jealous pagan deities.
-- At that point, I would race back into my spaceship like a runaway slave, get the hell out of the Milky Way galaxy, and warn all other advanced beings to avoid Earth like the plague -- at least, until the "blackheads" I had lived with gained the pre-eminence.
