Agreed...I wonder what makes us think we can just go and make such declarations...it's rather arrogant.

"White man messes up solar system" OMG---that sentence alone makes me fall off my chair! Although I realize it's rather tongue-in-cheek, it's such a perfect example of the disasterous effect the "White" man has had on our planet.

Poor, poor Pluto...

Right? Right.
In order to understand nature a person must be humble enough to learn silence, to embrace the pulse of all living beings and to accept the connectedness of all things. I have yet to meet a White person who has been able to overcome his/her "superior entitlement" indoctrination long enough to be this humble. Even the kindest, brightest White people I know have a sort of barrier to this level of comprehension.
Though John Nash and Albert Einstein came close (and were [admittedly] quite brilliant), they were still hindered by their inherent "White" arrogance.
Many good folk disagree with me vehemently on this issue---but I can only offer my own impressions.
Let me add that it would please me greatly if White people were healed of their arrogance--- for the sake of my People and for the salvation of White folk as well.

dem probably feel a right to "mess up the solar system," since dem think dem made and named it! In fact, dey be selling "Stars" that u can make into your namesake. And most of'em, imo, know that generally we'll accept their word. Why? 'Cause dem hierarchy and priesthood of funded "Scientists" have stamped their approval.

Part of power is to define a thing and impose or have other people accept it. Which is included in EuroCentric Hegemony, that btw is aided by those sufferring under that influence. Otherwise EuroHegemony is incomplete.

They obviously didn't (and still don't) know what it was to begin with anyway....this is why I get so mad at people taking what scientists seem to "prove" as "fact". Whether we are talking about them "proving" theories of evolution, an innate "homosexual" trait, a star being a far away sun (have they ever been to a star?), a planet not being a planet, it's all in the same boat. They make theories and change their minds all the time, showing double-mindedness, and double-minded people tend to be unstable in all their ways....

Humph...

I dont know what to make it of the issue honestly. My daughters were talking about this a couple days ago. I dont think they messed the solar system. lol
Basically, its the same thought that some held ages ago about the world being flat and not round. Science is a cool thing. Black kids should learn as much as they can about science. I am personally a creationist but that has not stopped me from looking at the universe from a scientific perspective. I have to wonder though if Black folks made this discovery would we talk about this here. I guess a better question would be, would we applaud or knock the brothers and sisters like our white counterparts. To me its neither here nor there. Changing textbooks is nothing new. (yawns)

No. Its good pay and imagine being in an elite group'n who continues to name and define EVERYTHING, to please their grant awarders. They're bound to keep on "messing up" life from their "ivory towers."

AND have people either believe what they "vote" for or against! The article omitted calling the unidentified "scientists" POLITICAL SCIENTISTS, and key aspects of eu-rope-ans and their "believers'" pantheon.

Then they (eu-rope-ans) were struggling to escape from their Dark Ages. Groping. Trying to prove that the "new kids on the block" were the evolved #1team to lead all others.

Science like anything else is a tool, with political goals. Cool? How bout eu-rope-ans subterfuge that its objective? We teach our children that, yes its objective... subjective objectivity. For there is no such creature as pure objectivity. Except in the mindset of europeans and their disciples. That's one thing our children need to know.

what is a creationist? we need not mystify science.

It might help u to study some of Afrika's Ancient histories (OurStories). Then u'd realize that the ex-cave dwellers didn't know then and don't really understand, now, what is life. And that their's are within it like everyone else's. There's no either or in this; everyTHING that is part of this universe is within this creation. Not as Western ed teaches that everything other than the knowers are objects for their isolated laboratory studies. They still remain within this realm.

I'd like to "yawn" with u. But this shyt ain't hardly funny or inconsequential. And lets remember that the West's "Scientific Method" is not the only way to test and determine what is true, sound or "real."

And Black folk need to continue busting out and accusing yt led people of mucking up life and part of the universe. More people worldwide are reAwakening to their own worldviews. Bleeve it or not more Black people in Amerikkka are also understanding who they were/are/and need to be.

Now white folk? Keep on keep'n on ... out of my way. Which I know they will not; for its part of their historical nature to mess with everything to suit themselves.

That's the problem. Not science.

science is a two edged sword. it has brought us many good things, however, it has also brought us to the edge of destruction of our planet.

Sooo true.
After the Enlightenment age so many people turned against spirituality because organized religion had been used to exploit many.
However now the new oppressor is oftentimes this monster we call rationality.
From one extreme to the other in many cases...

See, the white man is artificial so he is trying to make everything else just as he is.. artificial. The white man can't deal with anything natural. Thats the truth.
