Tip: How to Create an Avatar
Here's a quick tip on how to create an avatar from an image you like. Let's say you find an image on the internet, and think "Gee, I would like that as an avatar"
Ok, here are the steps:
1. On the image you want, right click and select save image as. Save it to a location on your system.
2. Open that image up in any graphics editing application such as Photoshop, paintshop pro, or your operating systems built in graphics editor.
3. Once in the application with the image open, resize the image by selecting pixel sizes no bigger than 100x100. Also, check the file size to ensure the resized image is no larger than 10kb. Once confirmed, click SAVE AS, so you can save your Edited copy as a different name other than the original downloaded file.
4. Upload your avatar to your AfroChat Profile.
