There's been a clear pattern established on virtually all messageboards you can find: The longer your posts, the more unlikely it will generate little or no discussion.
And it has virtually nothing to do with the quality of the content. Tha'ts why AfroChat created an
article section, which is not being used right now. If you have a great piece to share with the community, please submit it as an
article. Resident's expect and accept long pieces there, because it is an
article.
whether you are copying and pasting or typing it all yourself, starting or replying to a discussion with a small novel, does nothing for the topic. Think about it; how many points can be made in a lengthy post? Doesn't that make it even more difficult for others to reply or participate in the discussion? Help make the flow of discussion better, by being as clear, concise, while removing the verbosity of the point.
Don't belive me? Take a look around our community and look at the topics with huge posts. Notice how much conversation they get. Nearly none.
