1.No Advertising

a.We DO NOT tolerate spamming the board. Accounts that start off posting advertisements or plugs will be IMMEDIATELY deleted without warning. Advertising is only allowed via linkage to your site by the site administrator. Send a request to the site administrator to request linkage.

2.Post Spamming

Posts that are simply copy and pasting of content without your own comments are deleted. If the post is unworthy of your commentary, it is certainly unworthy of everyone else's.

3.General

a.Use mature judgment on what you decide to post here. Any post deemed objectionable or inappropriate will be deleted without warning.

b.Stay on Topic.

c.Avoid starting threads that have recently been discussed. If such threads are found, they will be merged or deleted.

4.Gender-Specific Forums.

a.If you are a male, don’t post in the female forums. If you are a female, don’t post in the male forums. Plain and simple.

5.News Forum

a.Standards of Integrity. News posted in the News Forum at AfroChat must conform to ‘standards of integrity’. This standard is enforced to create and maintain the trust and confidence of our readers when reviewing news posts as legitimate, reported news rather than conjecture, speculation, or opinion driven by the poster. When posting news, you must provide:

i.At least one link pointing to a credible source

ii.Some comment or opinion of your own along with the post.

6.Graphics

a.Signatures: Sigs can only be 400 pixels tall and 100 pixels wide for regular members. No exceptions. Signature cannot contain links to another site.

b.Avatars: No larger than 95x95 pixels.

7.Personal Attacks

a.Attack the argument or point, not the person. Personal attacks such as name calling, profuse profanity and slander will not be tolerated.

Great job on the rules D. I guess I better try to be less 'objectionable' as you put it.

All of those rules are fair. I wish we could have bigger graphics and avatars, but I understand there has to be some limit right?

could someone please expound on what it "objectionable material?" Objectionaable to what? And whom?

And content that is considered offensive or disrespectful to the average person.

Here are some examples of objectionable content posts:

1. personal attacks
2. overt attempts to insult or inflame.
3. offensive images; pornographic, grotesque, blasphemy.
4. spamming of board with single agenda, regardless of conversation or context.
5. using the site as a medium to continuously market personal or religious position.
