I'm sure many of you have already heard of his new book. Is Elders correct or has his message one sided and misleading? His mantra is : "Why race-baiters and hacks who call themselves "black leaders" –- and their white allies -- are the worst enemies of black Americans".Discuss.......

I hadn't heard of the book, but from what I know of Elders, we disagree on a whole host of issues. As such, his book won't be getting my time or money. I think he's just the typical black conservative on the white corporate payroll.

I passed this book in the store one day and it did look interesting, if only for the title. Cracking it open led me to believe it to be a legitimizing hammer for those that believe in a color blind America that does not exist. I might try giving it a read from the library during the summer or something to try and form a more complete opinion on the matter. I'm completely unfamiliar with the author.

I have not read his book. From ideas I have heard him espouse, my guess is he is probably right for all the wrong reasons. I would say the same thing about Bill Cosby. They criticize our so-called black leaders, which is actually something we all do. But, Elder and Cosby do it in a sprit of contempt of, rather than love for, black people.

Larry Elders is a modern day uncle tom personified. I even heard this clown all but declare racism and the need for civil rights null and void on Fox.

Elder could be the younger brother of another self-hating black man--Ward Connerly. Ward Connerly states that he is "one-fourth black, with the rest a mix of Irish, French, and Choctaw.": Brotha, your mother and father are black--you are BLACK. And confused.
