Yes it does, but I'll reword the question. What qualifications and accomplishments are we looking for Obama to have that the last 6 or 7 Presidents possessed excluding Bush Sr?

I beg to differ on that assertion. Try Cynthia McKinney or Ralph Nader. Each is, by leaps and bounds, far closer in line with needs of mainstream america.

i heard on the radio that there was another vote to continue funding the war and guess who was in the Capital Rotunda taking fotos with Capital pages rather than voting against the war? i'll give you one guess....

This was a perfect example of why we can trust neither democrats or republicans to end the war.
The founding fathers were smart enough to set things up so that even a fool of a president like Bush can not wage a war unless congress gives him the funds to do so. Obama and Hillary have both been givng speeches this week in favor of the GI bill, arguing that it will give GIs more benefits. But, what they failed to tell us is that this bill is also going to give Bush the additional funds he needs to continue waging war throughout the remainder of his term.

No matter what level of government you're complaining isn't serving our peoples best interests?
Also do check out the usual voting levels!
So, it's about more than your judgement calls, it's also about whether or not your deeds back up your words...
Simply put?
No participation: no progress!
And while I'm not even implying or suggesting putting blind faith in merely voting the right people into the right positions:
