I'm of the opinion that it's better to vote for something you want and not get it than to vote for something you don't want and get it. Why would anyone vote against his or her own interests?

clinton, obama or mccain will be the next president. i dare you to compare and contrast those three and then tell me who will be the best for black people.

Please forgive me if I appear evasive or even dismissive of your statement, but I'm also of the opinion that I shouldn't have to choose between media-sanctioned candidates who, to not-so-varying degrees, will be proponents of the status quo.

Frankly, I'm not sure any of these candidates will leave black america better off than how he/she found it, and that's what really matters imo.

evasion, dismission, pessimism are the easy ways out. you can sit on the side line and complain that the game is not fair. how well is that working out for us?
