LOL...I don't know if that's for me or not,.but..technically...uh..YEAH..give or take "us" meeting the minimum requirements to RUN for POTUS (Prez Of The United States)...now I never imply "we" could WIN BUT we could throw our Hat in The Ring as a minimum criteria meeting Citizen( but the libertarians, the whigs and independents often support grass roots peeps..they just don't make the media..not since Pero, and his grassroots type attempt to "run")
Article Two of the Constitution sets the qualifications required to become president. Presidents must be: natural-born citizens at least thirty-five years old must have been resident in the United States for at least fourteen years Citizens at the time of adoption of the Constitution were also eligible to become president, provided they met the age and residency requirements. While not an official requirement, the vast majority of presidents had prior experience as vice presidents, members of Congress, governors, or generals; in addition, thirty-one of forty-two presidents served in the military, all but one of them, James Buchanan, as an officer. During the electoral process, experience or lack thereof is often given as a point in a presidential candidate's campaign. Candidates usually must receive the backing of a major political party. This is not strictly required in order to be considered a serious candidate. |

Looking at the NH Dem debate, Richardson is literally sounding better than all of them. He is getting his point across and making great points without contradicting themselves like the other three

I want to take a minute to share something with you all that I read in the Bible...and then I want to ask you all to just think on what's being said in these lines...I'm bnot going to speak on it yet...I want to see where it goes, if it goes at all...but I am asking you to apply it to this sickening discussion that's been going on the past few days...
Nehemiah 4 Opposition to the Rebuilding 1 When Sanballat heard that we were rebuilding the wall, he became angry and was greatly incensed. He ridiculed the Jews, 2 and in the presence of his associates and the army of Samaria, he said, "What are those feeble Jews doing? Will they restore their wall? Will they offer sacrifices? Will they finish in a day? Can they bring the stones back to life from those heaps of rubble—burned as they are?" 3 Tobiah the Ammonite, who was at his side, said, "What they are building—if even a fox climbed up on it, he would break down their wall of stones!" |

A Request
I have to ask this as a way to keep people informed about all of the candidates...if you get any information on any of the candidates that can help voters decide for themselves, please post it or leave a website where that information can be viewed.

Brother Abdurratln...I hope I spelled that right...I want to thank you my brother...that's exactly why I posted that scripture from the book of Nehemiah...we have to learn how to stop looking for ways to tear our people down.. If there's one thing that we should have learned from Willie Lynch is the fact that his strength comes from his ability to continually divide us so that he can keep us locked in a conquered state of mind. Jesus knew and taught the value and strength of unity...Nehemiah knew it...Nehemiah proved what can be accomplished if unity prevails. I just pray that somewhere down the pike that black folk can find out what it means to be one.

Tearing down someone is using slander or mis characterization based on untruths. That should not be allowed. If someone has negative issues and you identify or form opinions on those issues, that's called objective accountability. I don't see anyone tearing down Obama, Sharpton, Jessee or anyone else here in this thread. Stop uttering the brainwaves of an UncleTom Facist and you would know the difference.

It is not tearing our people down to question underlying motives in which they are running for and not simply voting for someone because of their color or to set a precedence.
Plus, mixing religion and government is never a good mixture, only what is good for your nation |

Anyone voting for any other candidate other than Obama will vote for the opposite mostly for that fact, that is nothing new. |
