Some of the most intelligent people actually think Barack is going to get in the white house and he will make everything better for blacks. That is so amazing to me. I too can't overstand why we can't see the prez is a figure head. I mean really do you think the man in charge now is running this?

Ron Paul
It is kind of interesting that Ron Paul, the most agressively progressive candidate out there is not mentioned, and unlike all of the Democratic and Republican candidates he is not doing a lap dance for any war mongering think tank!

It is _extremely_ interesting. A republican, from Texas of all places, who talks to the left of every democratic contender except possibly Kucinich.
But, this is all irrelevant. Ron Paul has no chance, none, of winning the Republican nomination. Even worse, I expect he will throw his support behind whatever turd floats to the top of the Republican primary.

Good point
You know there are no Jewish candidates but the Jewish community will vote en masse to anyone who they know, wi serve thier interests. Not only has not one candidate stated that it will serve all of the several basic interests and needs of the Black community, but we have not collectively presened a platform that we demand.
You know in 1963 Malcom sayed we should have a 10 billion dollar lobbying building in DC. How much would that be in todays dollars??
Most ethnic groups in this country realize in a Capitalist system you buy politicians you don't vote for them!!!!!!!!

It is interesting. I took an online poll to see which candidate I must aligned with and it turned out to be Ron Paul...at the time, I had no idea who he even was.

Most people know little, if anything about him. This is by design, as anyone who is truly committed to the welfare of the people, rather than to the narrow interests of campaign contributors with deep pockets, MUST be given as little media coverage as possible. The only media coverage he gets is from spots that his campaign can afford to pay for, and from appearances in televised debates. Hence, most people never know a thing about him until he pops up at a debate and then they realize, hey, this guy is articulating the same positions that I believe in.
But, most Americans, mentally, are no better than sheep, easily manipulated by their ancient ancestral compulsions to fit into the pride. So, they end up being programmed by the loudest voices coming from their TV and radio [the roar of a pride's male lion can be heard as far away as 8 kilometers], and they conform to whatever mindset they think will allow them to remain in the pride.
After the debate, the talking heads program into you what to believe and not to believe. The other lions in the pride second that emotion. And, you hear nothing else about Ron Paul until the next debate.
Out of sight, out of mind.

I'm still waiting, hoping Obama will give me compelling reason to vote for him.

Naw playah, don't even try it. Answer the question? How is Hillary a republican?
Here's a news flash for you; when it comes to the middle east, none of them will do what's right. That includes Obama.
And just so you know; ALL US presidents have supported the so-calle Zionists. And I though you were gonna come with somethin real......
