No. Obama is still a trained politician who must walk a fine line between real domestic change or the end of his political career.
Valid point. You eloquently described the Obama agenda to a tee. Our Brothas & Sistas have to become more savy, see past political party propaganda, and weigh the issues carefully before even thinking about going to the polls.

Exactly. We always like calling a person Black when it doesn't cause us harm to do so; but how many Black people truly believe that Obama is a Black man concerned with the Black cause and willing to assist in the uplift of Black people?

The only reason he has made it so far is because he lacks some of the most essential characteristics of the Black psyche. He's physically Black and mentally something else. I'm still looking for a candidate that will promote some real change. Particularly with the obvious class inequality that exists in America today, where 1 out of every 4 Black Americans live in poverty.

Still up in the air. I would vote for Obama but I doubt if he would get the nomination. But to be honest, I really don't like any of the choices.

Outstanding! That's why black (and whites) fought so hard in the 50's and 60's, putting their lives and safety on the line so that American blacks nation wide would be able to have the right to vote. I guess your mindset made all that blood, sweat and tears worth their effort.

I'm speaking of presidential elections. You seem to not understand that ALL presidents are puppets, don't matter what president you vote for the agenda will always be the same....

Seems like Giuliani can't even get the support of his own family members. His daughter is reportedly backing Obama.

Giuliani's daughter 'backs Obama'

The daughter of Republican presidential hopeful Rudolph Giuliani has signalled her backing for Democrat Barack Obama, US media reports say.

According to her profile on social networking site Facebook, Giuliani's daughter Caroline, 17, was a "liberal", online magazine Slate reported.

In the listing, which was removed on Monday, she said she was a member of a Facebook group supporting Mr Obama.

Mr Giuliani declined to comment, only saying: "My daughter I love very much."
