Poets work hard to create magnificent words of prose. Let's give honor and respect to the craft by complying with the moral, ethical and legal standards regarding copywright issues.

1. Do not post the work of another poet in this forum.

2. If you want to post someone else's work, post it in the Outside Phloetics SubForum. When posting another's poetry, you must list the author and the source of where the poetry was found.

3. Do not use the work of another poet ever. Plagiarised work will be deleted without question or warning.

4. Any original works written by and submitted by the same poet is protected by U.S Copywright laws. Any unauthorized use of their material without their explicit consent can result in civil and criminal liabilities imposed on the violator.

In other words, get the author/poet's permission before using their work in anyway outside of this forum and/or community.

I'm new to this forum so I'm just spending time clicking around and getting a feel for how things flow. I must say, from what I've read so far, I really like this site and hope I'm welcome to join the family. I appreciate the Phloetry rules. I feel comfortable posting my original writings here and I hope people will enjoy reading them as much as I enjoy writing them. Peace and blessings to you and yours!

Why did my poem "Fvck You Very Merch" get deleted for "inappropriate content"? It was original and it was very much a poem. Was it the curse words? because I don't see anything in the Rulez that says you can't curse. And i've placed other poems on this site before that have had curse words in them, albeit not as much.

I know the powers that be, on this site can do whatever they want to do...and I respect that. Whatever. I just want an explanation other than, "I didn't like it" because you're not the only person who reads it either.
