Message and the Martyr
They tried to kill the message
By knocking off the messengers
Murder maimed slathered slain
Killed off leaders as their words of truth made them ashamed
Reworded misinterpreted blurred the words they heard
Then tried to market that mess to the mass through trash
But when the people learned the truth they jumped from their ***
Stood on the facts guided by the message that still lasts
Taught it to their kids making sure they got the lesson
The killing of warrior’s generals and kings
Only brought the words left the power of right
So let this be a lesson to those trying to hide the light
Martyrs as fragile but words are immortal
No read them in fright
