I Didn't Ask GOD for This

I DIDN’T ASK GOD FOR THIS
9/11/03

My frustration is screaming
From beyond the cracks embedded in my heart.
Your insecurities are slashing away at my backside
Constantly splitting and ripping our relationship apart.
I need you boo.
I really do.
I need you so much in my life.
But see,
I need you without all the ******* distrust.
Your accusations cut me like the sharp edge of a hunting knife.
I wish you could see my heart…
And feel the burning from these cuts.

Perseverance is my middle name
But I’m about to drop it altogether.
I’ve survived your storm for too many years.
Time to endure some better weather---
Cause we just can’t seem to work this **** out---
At least…
Not together.
Everyday I’m losing tears

I try my best to comprehend your issues,
But at the same time they are all out of my control.
And to tell you the truth lover,
Your drama’s getting old!

I didn’t ask God to give me body like brick
That causes every man to respond with the hardening of their dicks.
I didn’t ask God to paint me chocolate,
Urging men to fantasize about becoming one with my mix.

I didn’t ask God to bless me with eyes that sparkle
Mesmerizing every man into abysmal love sickness,
Yet you accuse me every chance you get
That the advances of men are my fault.
That **** you talkin is becoming ******* ridiculous.

I didn’t ask God to give me a smile so striking
That every man gets caught up in the gleam.
I didn’t ask for my *** to be so lusciously shapely and magnificent,
Causing young men to have publicly displayed wet dreams.

I didn’t ask God for these legs that walk that walk of a ghetto queen,
I didn’t ask God to give me the ability to talk that talk
Captivating mothafucka's to the ex-treme
Inducing Nigga’s to pursue me on stalk - like a crack fiend
I didn’t ask God for all of these things.

And you know what?
If I had to give it all back I would…
Yeah, I would
And if I could expunge every sexual image of me from every man’s mental
Than I would
If I could
Just for you boo.
But you know what?
On the other hand,
I didn’t ask God to put me through this drama that you fling at me on a daily.
And I didn’t ask God to assign you the mouth of a ******* demon,
Constantly hassling and tormenting me.

I never expressed to God that I wanted you to be going through my ****
Every chance you get.
And I didn’t ask God to give me *****, legs and thighs like a stallion
That done whipped you up to the point that you can’t even handle this ****.
I never asked God to allow you to break codes and check messages on my cell.
And I never asked God to have you questioning my friends,
Come on now!
Like a real bitch really gonna tell!
I didn’t ask God to have you blowing up my phone every minute trying to locate my ***
Go figure!
And I never asked God to have you follow me on the low to see if I’m going to go meet some nigga!
I didn’t ask God to have you going through my bag trying to locate digits
And I never asked God to have you smelling my thongs
Why the **** can’t you get it!

But what I did ask God for was a man that would trust and love me right.
And I did ask God to make you just as beautiful,
So you could understand my plight.
I asked God for a man that would appreciate the looks I get from other men
be proud that he has a woman that looks so good
And be confident in knowing that I’m only his.
And I begged and pleaded with God to open your eyes so you could see
That I don’t want these other nigga’s
You’re the only one I’m trying to see
And I got down on my knees every night and prayed to God to give me the strength to endure
And one day lead you to the road of secure
But you know what?
I gave that **** up
I can’t take this no ****** more.
I DIDN’T ASK GOD FOR THIS!!!!!!
Move away from the door!

I’m out!
