The last time we spoke to each other,

We exchanged our love for one another.

I told you to hold on; You said in a soft weak voice,

"I am"

But now your gone.

I was hoping we had some more years left together,

I cried and prayed for you to hold on,

I just knew you would walk away from that hospital bed,

But instead

God saw fit to take you into his loving grace,

To a realm so much different from this one;

To a new home, a better place.

I know you are better off where you are at this time,

But I still can't help but to see your departure as a crime.

You left so many who love you so dear,

You left so many in disbelief, great grief and oh so many tears.

Concerning your life, so many good words will be spoken,

Coming out of the mouths of loved ones who will forever be heart broken...

Heaven has a new angel up above!

With big bright eyes and a beautifull smile;

I bet heaven has not been blessed like this in a long, long, while!!

I can imagine that the other side is just wonderfull!

No more pain, no more struggle, no more sorrow.

I know the love you are now receiving is unbelievable!

No need to ever worry about tomorrow.

One day we will walk those golden streets together, hand in hand.

I will patiently wait for that day for we will meet again!!

Allow yourself time to think about it....don't let it build up on you.
Take time out for yourself and your feelings because there was many times I lost control trying to control the uncontrollable.

Yes being strong sounds good be take it from me sometimes you just need to let it out.

Grow from it keep faith in love and hope in life.

Dragon, Your poem was so moving, i had a lump in my throat. As soon as i began to read it, i knew it was to your sister. Keep holding on to those beatiful words and to her sweet memory. You have her children as a constant reminder that her spirit lives on in them. (i think you said she had children, right?). Peace and Love

Beautiful words. You and your sister were close. MY sis and I are too, we tear up at the thought.......you are strong and there isn't anything put on you beyond what you can bear. Keep enduring sis, and my prayers are with you.
