I’m one semester away from my graduate degree
Then I will pursue my PhD maybe
But don’t know a damn thing about my true history
Only what descendants of former slave master have falsely taught me
See I have been taught to hate the real me!
Both physically and mentally
That is why I try my best to be .W-H-I-T-E
Because in all actuality my mind is c-l-o-s-e-d
By the system
I am a mental victim
When I see my people I always tend to diss them
So what! Forget them

I am getting missed education
Education that my grandparents was missing
Or is it fiction?
And most of these universities render blacks misinformed
We have studied under them for so long
Now I am not suggesting that a sound education is wrong
But you tell me what the heck is going on?
When even with all of these degrees black people are still not that strong
As a people
The teacher reach ya
But never teach ya to be productive for self
We going and offer that college knowledge right back to someone else
This is diffidently evidence of a mental death
Dreams of presidential scenes out of our children minds it goes
Like a hurricane does to the petal of a rose
Certain avenues are intentionally avoid because your mind is closed

Closed minds obstruct us so many times like a field of landmines’
But you are blowing up and think

You boojah people think that because your skins is lighter and they smile at you sometime
Because you receive their miss education and kiss their behind
That your life is worth more than mine!

Same degree as them but they get higher salaries than black people

When I see interracial marriages
