The womb of human life
Before they claimed that I was primitive they worshiped me
I was a god in nations a king over lands
A savoir of millions until they changed my skin tone and made me white
My lands where lush and grand
Wild life ran freely and people came to me with the hopes of peace
I gave birth to civilization brought riches to the surface
Turn rocks into fuel made monuments out of sand
I even owned the winds you sail fly and breathe upon
But then you took my kindness for granted lowered my guard with smiling face
And taught my children not to trust me
I use to rule the world way before Cold Play staked their claim
I am your first religion, your birth place, you father and you grand mother
I have since built your nation, suffered your hatred, and fed your blood lust
I am the womb of human life, the birth of humanity
I am the African people of the world
And I want what is mine BACK
And I demand f---ing respect
