Hard to explain it, what I came wit, straight bangin'
Semi-automatic wit words, ya brains hangin'
Is he real thug or entertainment?
Fake arraignments, fake cases and niggaz wit strange faces
bodies get found in strange places, 3 months later
pulled 'em outta project incinerators
police hate us, try and find ways to take us
hit us wit 50 shots and fvckin' Harlem shake us
black folk bend but can't break us, we gladiators
we brought the world to the hood, we innovators
Underground, over-seas creators, we style-makers
you betta break us our piece, we crumb-takers
jakes get high-tech to trace us, survey us
we learned the rules of the game, they can't play us
gave us the guns so WE can slay US
law-makers, politicians just wanna lock and cage us
gave us the drugs and date raped us
DNA'd us, so 'scott-free' aint a phrase that would explain us
entertainers, pimps, dope-dealers and ball players
cuffed from our wrist to our nuts, balled and chained us
ways of the world, they can't blame us
the cards we dealt, we play our hand from the hood to Las Vegas
stack chips, filled mac-clips and sharp razors
did them folk wrong for too long they air-planed us
don't even sweat them hoe ni99az man, stand courageous
21 died in the club from pepper sprayers
and misery can't be alone recruitin' haters
try to bring me down from the top like elevators
no child left behind, just graduate us
resources slim at ours schools that outdate us
they in it for the money how they gon' educate us?
too many obstacles to run through like Gayle Sayers
even my own family full of the nay-sayers
sprinkle sodium in the game like salt shakers
but wait 'til you havin' some change they catch vapors
flash a fake smile in our face, congratulate us
but when we turn our backs ready to O.J. us
cold slay us, snitch money for nosey neighbors
put ya picture all on the front of the newspapers
Lord, can a virus really be that contagious?

Not necessarily a point in the sense of motivating anyone into action or trying to change anyone's mind. My point with this was to drop some dope shyt in here in it's rawest form for people who like to read poetry/rhymes and just highlight some of our plight as afro-americans in the ghettos of Amerikkka. If you can relate, no point needed.
