Once things
had us amongst Kings.

from Olympus
or visions filled with Elysian Fields.
But we were revered
& it appears,
[here i have not enlisted modesty]
that we existed
on & maintained a plane
of god & goddess odyssey.
You & I are in the 4front
of the hunt 4the vibe 2survive

we are carefully reviving
ensuring that our culture
is prayerfully thriving.
Thus, our engagement ring’s cut

&due 2 its bluish carat elite tint
we receive disparate treatment
as we walk & hold hands
showing our gold bands.
But our walks would become frolics
if we were2 acknowledge
that such bereft distinctions
deserve anything except extinction.

We won’t be interned until we learned

demands our purification
